The coronavirus in Bulgaria: the establishments announced a boycott of the measures and a war against the state – Bulgaria

We will not respect discriminatory restrictions without any effect. Do you want us to wage war with the state, with the institutions that are bent on monitoring compliance with the measures? We will lead it because we have nothing more to lose. From now on we tell you – call the tanks against us. Our protest will be in each of our sites! This is stated in a joint statement today of the Association of Restaurants in Bulgaria and the Bulgarian Association of Restaurants.

It is on the occasion of the intentions in Sofia and several other districts with the highest incidence of COVID-19 to limit the working hours of establishments to 22 hours at 50% occupied capacity. At the moment to visit a restaurant, bar, etc. a green certificate is also required.

Both associations point out that no working measure has been made to support the affected business. The declaration also calls for the resignation of Chief State Health Inspector Angel Kunchev and “anyone who believes the pandemic is fighting only by limiting our sector.”
