The Ministry of Health carried out the update of infections last Friday. It is reflected in it as the fifth wave of the pandemic continues the downward trend in the region.
In Santa Pola and Crevillente the infections are lower than in the city of Elche. Likewise, in Crevillente no positive has been registered and only one has been recorded in the last two weeks. It should be noted that the municipality is celebrating its main festivals with the realization of some acts such as last weekend the offering of flowers with a small previous parade.
Elche has registered 28 infections in the last three days, a figure that has remained constant for almost a month. The incidence rate in Elche stands at 47 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and Santa Pola and Crevillent are bordering on zero.
Hospital pressure is also following the downward trend. In the Hospital of Elche there are three people admitted to the ward, two in the Hospital del Vinalopó and two in the ICU.
