The Condition of District Roads in Cimerak Pangandaran is Severely Damaged

Berita Pangandaran, (harapanrakyat.com),- Community of Karangjaya Hamlet, Sukajaya Village, Cimerak District, Regency Pangandaran, West Java, self-help repairing district roads that are in severe condition, Tuesday (7/12/2021).

According to a local community leader, Sehan Solehudin, that the Paréang-Limusgedé-Kertaharja road was badly damaged due to the intensity of heavy vehicles.

The heavy vehicle was going back and forth, because there was a rock mountain location which is the raw material for stone, split, and other materials.

In addition, said Sehan, there are cars that transport animal feed back and forth all the time.

“So if the condition of the badly damaged district road is left unchecked, it is clearly very dangerous,” said Sehan to HR Online, Tuesday (7/12/2021).

Sehan said that the badly damaged district road is about 300 meters. “It is very dangerous because the hole is deep,” he said.

Furthermore, Sehan added that the road construction according to the Pangandaran Regency Government’s plan will be carried out in 2022.

“He said the road that was badly damaged was under construction or will be concreted next year,” he said.

While waiting for the realization of the construction of this badly damaged district road, the residents took the initiative to carry out maintenance independently.

“We take the initiative because we are always invited and driven by the chairman of the MUI in Pangandaran Regency, whose house happens to pass by that road,” he said.

He also regretted that there was no concern from businessmen, whose heavy vehicles were back and forth carrying stones and others.

“Before the community acts out of bounds, hopefully the relevant companies will care about taking care. Because the road is public property. So, let’s take care of him together,” he concluded. (Madlani / R5 / HR-Online / Editor-Adi)
