www.merdeka.com – Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. announced that sales of the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip smartphones for business use have more than doubled year-over-year. From January to October 2022, the number of foldable smartphones shipped by Samsung to the company’s customers increased by 105% compared to the same period in 2021.
With estimated shipments of foldable smartphones reaching 16 million units worldwide – a 73% year-over-year increase – the smartphone form factor has quickly become mainstream, and shipments are expected to grow to 26 million units by on 2023.
The ease of multitasking on the big screen and the optimization of powerful applications for foldable devices have helped encourage foldable smartphones to be well adopted by business users.
“The Samsung Galaxy foldable smartphone was created to open up opportunities for new ways of working and exploring creativity. Choi continued, Now that companies are implementing a work from anywhere policy, they are looking for new ways to maximize productivity through technology. Foldable devices have caught the attention of the financial services industry, where 74% of a sample group of financial advisors say it is very important to stay connected via a mobile app.
