The police investigate the circumstances of the tragic death of a two-year-old. The boy died under the wheels of a car on one of the properties in Chrząstów (Greater Poland Voivodeship).

On Sunday around 12.30 pm Śrem police received a report regarding a tragic accident in the commune of Książ Wielkopolski.

– According to the preliminary findings of the police, on the private property, where a meeting of friends took place, the driver of the passenger car hit a less than two-year-old boy from the Dolsk commune. Unfortunately, the child is dead – said sub-inspector Ewa Kasińska, spokesman for the Śrem police.

The officers who arrived, inspected and secured the tracks. They will explain the circumstances of the accident. The case is handled by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Śrem.
