the comic festival celebrates its 46th anniversary

It is the second oldest festival of its kind, after that of Angoulême. The Chambéry International Comics Festival returns from 30 September to 2 October, with Alex Alice as the guest of honor. The cream of the authors will be present at the Manège de Chambéry Congress Center for the duration of the event, on the sixty stands dedicated to them. This year, Canadian Doug Wheatley ( Star Wars ) returned to Chambéry, and arrives with American Tony Moore (co-creator of The walking dead ).

Entertainment of all kinds will punctuate the festival, including autograph sessions, a day for professionals on Friday 30 September, shows and entertainment in schools, at the Métropole Savoie hospital, in nursing homes or at home. This year, the MJC of Chambéry joins the festival and proposes two evenings and an afternoon of animations around the world of comics, on 1is and October 2. The event is accompanied by the golden elephant award ceremony.
