The Colossus actor talks about returning to Marvel

The return of Colossus to Marvel? The actor who brings the mutant to life addresses his possible appearance in Avengers 6, the big climax of the MCU.

The Colossus actor has opened up about his return to Marvel Studios in Avengers 6. In the original X-Men trilogy and X-Men: Days of Future Past, the role of this mutant was played by Daniel Cudmore, although he was replaced by Stephan Kapicic in both Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool films.

Recently, Daniel Cudmore replied to a fan on one of his Instagram posts asking if he would return as Colossus for Avengers 6, Marvel Studios’ big party. The dream closure for the Multiverse Saga. Simplifying, he told the fan “if they ask me, absolutely!”

It’s not the first time he’s dropped something like this!

In February 2022, Daniel Cudmore spoke to the YouTube channel called Crossing the stars on what he’s heard about a possible return as Colossus across the Multiverse, along with more characters being brought back to Marvel Studios. We all saw it in Spider-Man: No Way Home. And we also liked it in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Though he hadn’t heard anything since his last appearance in X-Men: Days of Future Past, he sees no reason why the studio shouldn’t bring those heroes back. For him there is plenty to choose from. Especially in Avengers 6.

“I haven’t heard anything. I don’t know how it’s going to play out, because… After the end of X-Men: Days of Future Past, that was the last one I played as Colossus. And besides, with all that is success with Deadpool, I don’t know if… I would go into the Marvel Universe. But as for the return of the X-Men, I don’t see why they wouldn’t. There are so many great characters in that universe… Movies can work really good on their own. But all these giant movies with all the characters, why not? Why not bring them? You have to remember that there is still a long way to go for Avengers 6but the emotion is felt in the environment.
