The Attorney General’s Office continues to carry out investigative work to find those responsible for the murder of five adolescents, between the ages of 13 and 16, in a canyon located in the Llano Verde neighborhood of Cali.
Until now, activities have been carried out by the judicial police, the team of prosecutors and investigators in charge, along with criminalistics groups from the Office of the Prosecutor and the National Police, who have remained in the capital of Valle since the crime was recorded, on November 11. of August.
“We continue with a meticulous follow-up and evaluation of the activities carried out so far, and those that remain to materialize,” said the delegate for Citizen Security, Carmen Torres Malaver.
He pointed out that “this articulated work supported by drones and forensic technology equipment has allowed obtaining important evidence.”
This Friday the inter-institutional team met in person at a work table to evaluate what was collected and assign new tasks.
“We have articulated the judicial police of both the CTI and the National Police in their various areas and we continue with a meticulous task of monitoring and evaluating the activities carried out and those that remain precisely to materialize. In this way, we fulfill the objective of working with the technologies of the different branches of criminology that will allow, at a certain moment, to clarify the occurrence of these events, ”said Torres.
The team that carries out the investigation work is made up of three prominent prosecutors to investigate homicides, and a team of more than 30 judicial police officers from the CTI, Sijín and Gaula from the National Police; as well as analysts and criminalistics personnel.
