The closure of the entrances and homes of the 15 May Bridge and Orabi for a period of two months for the construction of the new axis

Starting at 12 noon today, Tuesday, for a period of two months, the Traffic Directorate has started the total closure of some bridges and houses (May 15, Ahmed Orabi), as part of the construction works of the new axis 26 July, in the midst of the spread of traffic services to follow the traffic of cars.

And a security source revealed that, as part of the implementation of construction works on the new 26 July axis, which includes projects (the new Ahmed Orabi axis, the extension of the 15 May bridge), the company carrying out the works will remove the ramps of some ramps and the houses of my bridges (May 15, Ahmed Orabi).

This is the following:

The house of the 15th May Bridge (the first) for those coming from the areas of the Governorate of Cairo towards the 26th July street, “the veterans’ areas”. .

– Beginning of May 15th (second) bridge coming from July 26th Street and Sphinx Square towards the areas of the Governorate of Cairo and Zamalek.

– Start of Ahmed Orabi Bridge from Airport Street towards Ahmed Orabi Street and Sphinx Square.

The source added, that the affair requires a complete closure of traffic in the direction of the aforementioned reading and houses, starting at 12 noon today, Tuesday, corresponding to 27/9/2022 AD, and for a period of two months which ends Saturday, corresponding to 11/26/2022 AD, provided that the work is 24 hours a day..

The source added that the Giza traffic directorate general conducted several alternative axes and the following transfers:

– The movement of vehicles coming from the top of the 15 May Bridge from the areas of Cairo and wanting to go down to Piazza Sfinge, take the second house that leads to Via 26 Luglio and Piazza Sfinge.

– The circulation of vehicles coming from Via 26 Luglio and Piazza Sfinge and wishing to go up the May 15th Bridge towards the areas of Cairo – Zamalek take the (first) exit of the 15th May Bridge located in Piazza Sfinge towards the areas of the Governorate of Cairo and of the Zamalek area.

– The movement of vehicles coming from the Airport Street and Al-Barajeel areas and wishing to walk towards Ahmed Orabi Street and Sphinx Square, continue on Airport Street under the Ahmed Orabi Bridge towards the Imbaba areas to Al-Amal City Street, then walk left from Al-Amal City Street towards Ahmed Orabi Corridor and Safari Park Square, then turn around and return from Safari Park Square towards the beginning of Ahmed Orabi Bridge, to Ahmed Orabi Street and Sphinx Square.
