The CIA director met with the President of Ukraine

CIA Director William Burns last week met with the Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky and representatives of the Ukrainian intelligence community. This was announced by CNN.

The television quoted two sources from the US administration.

The trip was planned in advance and was not caused by new extraordinary circumstances. During past meetings the possibility of a “Russian invasion” in Ukraine was discussed.

CNN did not give any other details and did not specify exactly where the meeting between Burns and Zelensky took place.
