There will be a Christmas market in Niort. The prefecture has given its authorization. 39 chalets will be set up at Place du Donjon from December 11 to 24. With adapted sanitary instructions.
Maximum capacity of 400 visitors
The space will be delimited and closed with an entrance and output distinct. To regulate flows, security guards will be positioned with a capacity of 400 people maximum simultaneously. A flow direction will be set up within the market, hydroalcoholic gel will be made available to the public.
No ice rink or toboggan run
Otherwise, a merry-go-round will be installed at Place du Temple as well as three food chalets but only for take-out. No on-site consumption or sale of coffee or mulled wine. Same thing instead of the Dungeon.
There will also be no ice rink in Place du Temple, or the toboggan run and food huts in Place de la Brèche.
Christmas market hours: open Friday December 11 at 12 noon. Monday from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
