The child for whom the District Prosecutor’s Office in Kardzhali today self-reported and ordered an investigation for violencewas taken out of the home, Tsvetomir Hadjiev, director of the regional directorate “Social Assistance”, told BTA.
He specified only that the measure is for more than one child. “We reacted immediately. In the case, an inspection was carried out, as well as a visit to the home. In view of the interests of the children, it was determined that they should be taken out and given protection,” explained Tsvetomir Hadjiev. He added that depending on the results of the assigned inspections, further actions will be taken.
Today, the district prosecutor’s office in Kardzhali reported itself and ordered an investigation into publications in the media in connection with published information about violence against a minor child – a boy.
The publication claims that a video on the social network “TikTok” shows a child with two deep wounds on one cheek that look like cigarette burns. It is also indicated that in the footage, a man speaking in Turkish explains how the child is the son of a TikToker from Kardzhali with the nickname “Mako Kral”, and that the injuries were caused by the child’s mother, BTA reported.
