He risked 2 years in prison suspended, he finally got 14 months suspended and fined 5000 francs. This is the verdict rendered last week by the Court of Sion against a former chief doctor of the Valais Hospital (HVS). The practitioner was sentenced for unfair management.

During his trial last March, the former chief doctor said that all of these operations were transparent and that he had concealed nothing. On the contrary, the Court found that the practitioner had abused his power of representation.

The convicted person appealed against his conviction.
