The governor spoke of the difficulties of the university hospital in Abéché which receives patients from the East and North East of the country. He considers it necessary to provide this center with substantial means to meet the health needs of the populations.

The charge d’affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America, Josie Ratcliffe, welcomed the calm that prevails in the east of the country before locating the motive for her trip to Abéché.
