“There is a good chance that the stars of PSG will be present in Tel Aviv”
For the second consecutive year, Israel will host the Champions Trophy.
The match between the winner of the French championship and that of the Coupe de France will take place like last year at the Bloomfield stadium in Tel Aviv, on July 31.
The Trophée des Champions will see another good poster with Paris Saint-Germain who will face Nantes.
During the previous edition at the Bloomfield stadium in Tel-Aviv, PSG lost to Lille 1-0.
The philanthropist Sylvan Adams, at the origin of the arrival of the event in Israel, is pleased that it takes place once again in the Jewish state.
“Last year, we took advantage of the fact that most of the stadiums in the world were under health restrictions due to the pandemic. Israel being ahead in vaccination, we therefore convinced the organizers of the Trophy to organize it at Bloomfield Stadium, capable of accommodating a large number of spectators”, explains Sylvan Adams, guest of Prime on i24NEWS.
“And the organizers were so satisfied with the experience that they decided to repeat it,” rejoices the philanthropist, who aims to make Israel known and loved through sport and culture. He is notably at the origin of the organization of the Giro from Jerusalem in 2018.
While Kilian Mbappé and Neymar weren’t present in Israel last year, much to the chagrin of their fans, Sylvan Adams claimed there was a good chance the PSG stars would contest the Trophée des Champions this year .
“The schedule is favorable, and this meeting is also considered an important training session before the World Cup in December,” said the Israeli-Canadian businessman.
