The CD Project may face class action

The bad news of the Project CD does not end there. The value of the shares due to the commotion around the bad condition Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One continues to decline. The Polish company will return the money to the dissatisfied owners of the game out of their own pockets, and a mass lawsuit and a possible report of a crime are looming.

“Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Mikołaj Orzechowski, I am a Warsaw lawyer and also an investor in the CD of the RED Project. In the context of recent events, and in particular the suspension of sales of Cyberpunk 2077, I, together with a team of lawyers, analyze the reasons for bringing a class action lawsuit together with the notification of a possible criminal offense under Article 286 of the Criminal Code – distortion of information / data in order to obtain financial benefits,“ writes a lawyer.

“Together with one web portal, we are also preparing material on investor rights,” Orzechowski outlines the next steps and mentions glaring lies from the board of the CD Project, which are in conflict with the current state of the game. The lawyer recalls several delays and older information from the board. She stated at the beginning of this year that Cyberpunk 2077 is completed and ready. Recently, the board apologized and admitted that the PS4 version was not given due care in the studio.

The Board of the CD had the Project mislead investorswhen she told them that the Cyberpunk 2077 works great on the PS4 and Xbox One. In reality, however, console versions contain a number of technical issues and bugs.

Jarosław Dominiak, President of the Association of Individual Investors, recalled that investors are always prepared for riskbut their disappointment is justified. He has not yet received any complaints or suggestions regarding the CD Project.

Hotfix 1.05 was released from Friday to Saturday. We wrote about him here.
