The story is like taken from a movie. On December 8 last year, Lars Findsen landed at Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen. The suspended intelligence chief sensed enough peace and no danger.
He had been in northern Macedonia to help the country build its security service. Findsen had been taken out of regular service because the e-service had received harsh criticism in a report a year and a half earlier.
