The British duo “Oh Wonder” will go to Riga with a new song and also an album

On March 8, 2022, the British duo “Oh Wonder” will perform in Riga, giving a concert on the “Hanseatic platform”. As part of the tour, the band will present the recently announced studio album “22 Break”, which is scheduled for release on October 8. Its title track has already seen the light of day.

Oh Wonder’s No One Else Can Wear Your Crown concert tour has had to be postponed twice due to the pandemic, but ticket holders can rejoice, because despite all the restrictions, Oh Wonder’s concert has been saved. The group will perform in Riga on March 8, but then go to Vilnius, where the concert is planned for March 9. The concerts organized by the agency “8 Days A Week” in Latvia and Lithuania will be part of the “Oh Wonder” world tour, which includes more than 50 concerts. The band is longing for concert life and will present their latest album “22 Break” for three months at the beginning of spring.

A little bit of history. Anthony West and Josephine Vandera Gučta or “Oh Woncder” have been playing together since 2014. Last year, with the release of “No One Else Can Wear Your Crown”, their lives looked simply charming: the couple went to a dog, a dream home with a recording studio and were going on a world tour with 120 concerts. But everything was stopped by a pandemic, and both of us, like many of us, had to, figuratively speaking, be locked into four walls. Accustomed to countless journeys, during which mostly Oh Wonder songs were made, the time of self-isolation was especially difficult, and the duo was even on the verge of divorce. Unable to talk about the lingering problems, the couple revealed to each other their fears and intimate experiences through songs. The result was the album “22 Break”, the title song and video of which has reached the listeners. The new album will also tell about the relationship between the two people and the difficulties the couple faced during the pandemic.
