EPHRATA, KOMPAS.TV – Part of the burned rocket wreckage that was seen gliding across the southwest Pacific skies last week fell on a farm in the eastern Washington state of the United States (US).
A farmer found a part of the rocket almost intact on a private farm The Associated Press, on Saturday (3/4/2021).
The about 1.5 meter pressure rocket used to store the helium fell and left an indentation in the ground measuring about 10 centimeters. “Nobody was injured as a result of the falling part of the rocket debris,” said Grant County Sheriff’s spokesman Kyle Foreman.

The National Weather Service in Seattle said the brightly glowing object reportedly seen in the sky on March 25 was part of a second-tier SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket that left a comet-like trajectory as it caught fire as it entered Earth’s atmosphere.
The farmer, who declined to be identified, suspected that the debris he found was part of a rocket. He then contacted the local sheriff’s office last weekend. The authorities then followed up on the farmer’s report on Monday (29/3/2021) and contacted SpaceX. SpaceX then confirmed that the wreckage was part of a rocket and took it back.
