When does the 3rd season of “The Boys” * start? Fans of the Amazon series hope that it will continue soon. Now there is good news: filming has already started. In this context, showrunner Eric Kripke uploaded the first photo of the new season on Twitter. But what can actually be seen on it? The fans are therefore diligently discussing in the comments. There are already two theories, both of which sound very likely.

A few weeks ago, “The Boys” cast a warning: There won’t be a 3rd seasonif not all people wear masks to contain the corona pandemic. So much is now certain: Filming is in full swing, Prime Video users don’t have to worry for now. And what can the fans expect in the upcoming episodes? A long time ago, the makers announced that the new character Soldier Boy will appear in the next season. Actor and “Supernatural” star Jensen Ackles takes on the role of the hero.
Now fans can’t wait to see pictures of Ackles in his costume. Eric Kripke may have already fulfilled this wish. He posted a photo on Twitter showing a golden statute of a “The Boys” hero:
“Is that Soldier Boy or Homelander? There seems to be mass confusion, ”writes a Twitter user. In fact, fans disagree on who the statue should represent. Another user assumes that it must be Soldier Boy, because the emblem differs from Homelanders (Antony Starr) coat of arms. Kripke does not want to comment on this at the moment. So it remains to be seen whether it is actually the first illustration of Soldier Boy.

“The Boys” on Amazon Prime Video: When will Season 3 be released?
A little more than a year has passed between the first and second season of “The Boys” being released. If the makers complete the shooting quickly, the 3rd season could start in autumn or winter 2021. So far, Amazon does not want to commit to a specific date.
