Chelsea open Premier League 2020/2021 by picking up three points at home Brighton & Hove Albion. The Blues beat the hosts 3-1.

Chelsea face Brighton at Amex Stadium in the first week of the Premier League 2020/2021, Tuesday (15/9/2020) early morning WIB. Brighton is actually able to trouble its guests in this match.

After halftime, Brighton equalized in the 54th minute. Leandro Trossard fired a long distance from the left side of the Chelsea defense.

Chelsea only needed two minutes to get back in front. Reece James took off a measured kick from the front of the Brighton penalty box.

Chelsea away in the 66th minute. Starting from James’s corner, the ball was grabbed by Kurt Zouma’s kick.

Chelsea who have been superior trying to slow down the tempo. Meanwhile, Brighton in stamina seemed to have started to decline midway through the second half.

This made them less aggressive in the first half and had difficulty dismantling the Chelsea defense. No additional goals were created in the remainder of the match. Chelsea closed the 90 minutes with a 3-1 win.
