“The Best Pastry Chef”: Elodie, the explorer of flavors, wins the final

There were three of them and only one remained. Élodie won, Wednesday, December 30, thea final of “Best pastry chef” M6, presented by Julia Vignali. In front of her two unfortunate candidates: Bouchra and Margaux.

For the final clap, the three pastry chefs first tried to reproduce the cake present in the credits of the show, a dessert with chocolate icing covered with raspberries. An event which unfortunately did not succeed in Bouchra.

The two finalists then faced off on the theme of cinema.

Elodie was inspired by Arunning in Wonderland to offer a cake all in meringue, embellished with marzipan roses, while Margaux, the youngest of this season, has created a pastry around the film King Kong.

Imagination and originality

And it is finally Elodie who seduced Cyril Lignac and Mercotte, which judged in duplex the visual of the creations of the candidates. The young woman, a pizza maker by trade, therefore won the trophy for the best pastry chef and the privilege of making her own cookbook.

This final meeting closes the ninth season of the program which has gathered, on several occasions, more than three million viewers, audiences up compared to the previous year. Last Wednesday the first part of the final broke the season record with 3.38 million viewers.
