According to the original speculations, the flagship was supposed to appear among the game graphics already in February, but sources of the VideoCardz server have now stated that this will not happen until April. However, it should be emphasized that Nvidia has not yet officially confirmed that it is actually working on new graphics.

However, it was the VideoCardz server that correctly stated at the turn of last year and this year that Nvidia will show cheap GeForce RTX 3060 graphics in January, even before the official premiere. So it is more than likely that we will actually wait a longer time for a new card.

However, the RTX 3080 Ti – according to the chosen name – should become the second most powerful model on the market. The RTX 3090 offers even higher performance, but it does not primarily target players, although all modern titles on it, of course, run without the slightest problem, even in high definition.

Gradually, five models were introduced
The first graphics cards in the GeForce RTX 30 series were introduced last year, in four different designs. The cheapest was the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, which premiered shortly before Christmas.

Prices for this design start at CZK 11,499. Let’s add that in the offers of individual stores we will also find cards that have improved cooling or overclocked chips from the factory. These can easily be several thousand more expensive.

Nevertheless, the price tag is very attractive, because according to the manufacturer, its performance should surpass the previous model of a higher class – specifically the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER graphics, which went on sale for CZK 20,999.

The performance of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is therefore built to satisfy players who own 1080p and 1440p monitors. In addition to the Full HD standard, it is also sufficient for 2K games.

The other three mentioned models are even more powerful and of course also more expensive. The GeForce RTX 3070 model attracts at a price of CZK 13,999. For comparison, two more powerful models cost CZK 18,999 (RTX 3080) and CZK 40,999 (RTX 3090), respectively.

In practice, the GeForce RTX 3070 should be about 60 percent faster than the RTX 2070. It has 8 GB of GDDR6 and is a balanced solution for playing in 4K or 2K (1440p) resolution.

The GeForce RTX 3080 is twice as fast as the RTX 2080. It offers 10 GB of the latest GDDR6X memory at 19 Gbps. The new RTX 3080 can consistently achieve 60 frames per second at 4K resolution in modern games.

For completeness, the RTX 3090 offers twice the FP32 throughput of the previous generation and 30 TFLOPS of computing power. In practice, the RTX 3090 should be 50 percent more powerful than the Titan RTX, which has so far been described as the most powerful graphics card in the world. The Titan RTX was even faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 TI, but it was not primarily intended for games, but for specialized computing performance.

In January of this year, the GeForce RTX 3060 graphics were added to last year’s four models, which took over the scepter of the cheapest model thanks to the price tag of CZK 8,800. However, sales will not officially begin until the end of February.
