With the euro going through the knockout rounds, we’ve already had a lot of unruly fan interactions. From fans showing up to support their team in the wrong country to raiders holding rainbow flags, everything is how fans enjoy their time. Football fans were kept away from the stadiums for more than a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic and fully supported their teams. They were screaming at screens rather than faces so we can’t expect anything less extravagant than what was going on. Let’s take a look at the best fans of Euro 2020 so far.
The best fans of Euro 2020 2020
We start with all the highlights in the spotlight of the fans of Euro 2020. A Denmark fan not only made his friends happy, but also his country proud, because he made beer drinks that you would not believe. This legendary man drank 12 beers – yes, you read that right – and a hot dog in the crowd at a group game in Denmark. He’s really shown the world what he’s accomplished over the years, and his hard work has finally paid off.

I don’t think any other video shows the importance of people getting the job done in a trip. This guy was determined. His friends got the beer no matter what. The next time I go shopping, I know who’s coming.
But the fans returning to the stadiums isn’t just about the love and support from the stands. Cristiano Ronaldo found out quickly when Portugal faced Hungary in their first group match.

Some fans are happy to be back, some are happy to cheer on their teams, some are ready to yell at the opponent and other fans have completely missed the chance. A couple of French fans showed up more than 500 miles from where their team was supposed to play. The six fans mistook Bucharest and Budapest, where the French national team played. They mistakenly followed a group of Ukrainian football fans from the airport to where they were waiting for the wrong game to start. You might have kicked yourself for a while after making this fatal mistake.
From beer to showing up to support their team in the wrong country, Euro 2020 fans do it all. It has taken you some time to protest repressive human rights laws in response to the passing of laws in Hungary banning potentially minor LGBTQ + content a few weeks ago. After UEFA declined Germany’s request to light their stadium in rainbow colors to show their support for the LGBTQ + community, German fans turned their backs.
Oh wow! A spectator was walking with a rainbow flag while the Hungarian national anthem was played. Loud applause from Germany Bau pic.twitter.com/EDJzdV0tbx
When Germany and Hungary lined up in the group stage, a brave protester took to the field with a rainbow flag while the national anthem of Hungary was played. The crowd cheered as the man pulled up in front of the Hungarian team and raised the flag in the sky in protest of the recently passed discriminatory laws.
While some fans took the time to return to the stadiums to protest or drink as much beer as possible, others took a different route. Some fans went as silly as possible in their costumes, while Italian fans dressed up like pizza slices and Mario Bros to cheer on their squad. Fans of Euro 2020 are unique.

Belgian fans raised the bar by painting themselves blue and wearing Smurfs to show their support for their team.

But nobody could take on the Dutch because they wore orange clothes from head to toe. The colorful sea of fans can be seen from space.

Euro always features some of the best fans for entertainment; They let go of their emotions and put their hearts and souls into the will to win of their teams.
This Swiss fan perfectly captures the emotions these fans go through. The two photos were taken minutes apart, with the first photo showing a desperate man showing his emotions as he watches his team battle it out for competition, and the second showing a man looking like he could go against you Bears fight, who celebrates as if the world has ended with his team a late equalizer. This man is my spiritual animal.

Whatever works for fans, we love seeing fans show their support in fun and mysterious ways. We can always count on the Euros to bring us these special types of fans. Not only does it add to the atmosphere of healthy and fun competition – fan frenzy is a necessary part of football.
