Al-Marsad Journal: A recent study revealed the best diet to lose weight, achieve a leaner waist, and get rid of stubborn belly fat.
The study was published in the journal “Cell Reports Medicine” and 162 participants were asked to follow a certain eating habit for 3 months, with 44 of them eating food in a limited amount of time (also known as “intermittent fasting”). , and 47 following a low-carb diet, while 44 participants chose a combination of the two.
Participants were also asked to eat in an 8-hour window, from 8:00 to 16:00 or from 12:00 to 20:00.

After 3 months, the three eating habits were found to support weight loss, but habits limited to a certain period of time were the most effective in getting rid of belly fat and gaining a consistent body.
The study also found that limited-time eating “works well with belly fat, which is the fat that accumulates within the abdominal cavity and surrounds key organs such as the heart, stomach, intestines and liver.”
