Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is celebrating a special occasion this week: the fifth birthday of his daughter Jasmine. Read the star’s heartwarming tribute below.
There is no less love in a simple birthday celebration – just look at this one for The Rock’s daughter, Jasmine.
On Wednesday December 16, Dwayne Johnson’s second daughter celebrated her fifth birthday amid the coronavirus pandemic. Given the global circumstances, her birthday party was at home with the people closest to her heart: Johnson, mum Lauren Hashian, grandmother Ata Johnson and 2-year-old sister Tiana.
In a video Johnson posted to Instagram, fans can watch the group serenade the birthday girl as the star’s mother accompanies them on the ukulele and the actor presents a lit cake.
“Jazzy was 5 years old today and this little tornado has no idea how much she and her little sister anchor our soul”, wrote the blockbuster star on Instagram.
“Like all families around the world, we’ve had to throw some very low-key COVID birthday celebrations for our babies this year, but our love and mana will always be the strongest things flowing in this family. In the end, that’s really all that matters. ”
“Shout out to Mama Rock @atajohnson”, Johnson continued, “For keeping the rhythm of the ukulele and Wifey Mama @laurenhashianofficial to always arrive with this sweet harmony. And Big Daddy had to dive in with the biggest daddy bear birthday kiss ever to my pride and joy. “
Needless to say, the Jumanji star was a proud dad. “Happy birthday, Jazzy !!” he concluded his message. “One day in many years you will see what I see… The gift that you are. We love you, your family.
It’s hard to believe it’s been five years since Johnson and his wife Lauren Hashian welcomed their first child together. “I was raised and live with amazing strong women so the universe felt we needed one more… IT’S A BABY GIRL !!” he announced it in November 2015, a month before Jasmine was born.

The couple became parents again with the arrival of their daughter Tiana in April 2018. A year later, in August, the longtime couple got married. In September, the actor revealed that he, his wife and their daughters had tested positive for the coronavirus, but were happily recovering and were no longer contagious.
