The “Bayerischer Hof” in Kirchstrasse in Burgsinn was an inn with a long tradition. For more than 120 years it was a popular destination for many tourists and guests. In the 1960s, the house was expanded from a small beer tavern to an inn with guest rooms. It was also the clubhouse for the Burgsinn sports community and the Burgsinn fishing club, as well as for the BJV Karlstadt-Gemünden. Around 2010 the inn was known for its XXL portions. On February 1, 2018, the tap was turned off and the inn was no longer profitable. Operations have been inactive since then.
