In a good mood, after PSG’s comfortable victory in the reception to Montpellier (5-2), on the 2nd round of Ligue 1, Italian midfielder Marco Verratti, in the quick interviews area, made reference to the Portuguese Vitinha (former -FC Porto).
“I played three games with zero yellow cards. Vitinha took my place, it’s good [risos]it already takes three”, he said, alluding to the fact that the Portuguese international was admonished in the Super Cup game, with Nante (4-0), and in the first two rounds of the French championship, namely with Clermont (5-0) and Montpellier (5-2), while last year Verratti was booked for three consecutive games at the start of the season.
The Italian also praised the Portuguese midfielder: «He is a great player, despite his young age. He has a great personality, we are not very different. He gives himself a lot to the game, plays without the ball and creates spaces for others. He’s integrated well and you’ll find that, as the games go on, it will be even better. He is also having a very good start to the season. »
