THE BALL – The ‘garage case’ and the risk of Conceição at the bank in Jamor (FC Porto)

Sérgio Conceição will be able to sit on the bench at Jamor’s game and guide the FC Porto team in the Portuguese Cup final.

The so-called ‘garage case’ will have an important stage today, with the hearing of the three accused Porto fans – Vítor Baía, advisor Rui Cerqueira and the coach – by the FPF Disciplinary Board, but this will not result in a possible suspension that places concerned the presence of the national champion coach close to the squad in this challenge.

There was a suspicion on the part of the Dragons that the decision could be known on the same day, which, if Conceição was found guilty, would remove him from Jamor’s game, forcing him to direct the team from the stand.

However, sources contacted by A BOLA assure that such a quick decision would configure an almost unprecedented situation, in addition to the fact that there are no resources for this to happen due to the fact that the investigation is not simple. Sérgio incurs a punishment from one month to two years, but the dragons bet on absolution.

The case refers to the controversial FC Porto-Sporting, which ended with incidents on the lawn and in the garage of Estádio do Dragão between elements linked to the two clubs, with a subsequent complaint from Sporting to the Disciplinary Council (CD) against Conceição, Baía and Rui Cerqueira. .
