Sint-Truiden, 9th in the Belgian league last season, announced this Friday the signing of Fábio Baptista, known as Fabinho in the football world.
The 21-year-old right-back arrives in Belgian football at ‘zero cost’ after three seasons at Benfica B. Last season, Fabinho played 22 games in the Eagles’ secondary team, scoring one goal.
The Portuguese André Pinto, sporting director of Sint-Truiden, was pleased with the signing of Fabinho, who comes from «one of the best formations in the world».
