Robert Lewandowski still hasn’t managed to sort out his future. Bayern continue to count on the player, although the forward has already said he will not return. The German club believes that the Polish goalscorer will retreat in the decision.
According to the German press, a delegation from the Bavarian club traveled to Mallorca, where the player is on holiday, to talk to the striker. But that meeting allegedly came to nothing.
Compatriot and coach Tomasz Hajto was harshly critical of the way Bayern are treating Lewandowski: “He is deeply disappointed. Oliver Kahn said he submitted a proposal to renew, but Robert said he didn’t receive it. He is very disappointed. This matter should have been resolved internally. This wouldn’t have happened if Rummenigge or Hoeness. With them it had not reached the public. Neither Lewandowski nor Bayern need this theatre.”
