Through a statement, Casa Pia made it known that the Estádio Nacional, in Jamor, will not be able to host the match for the second round of the championship, against Benfica, scheduled for 17 August. Thus, as can be read, this Monday sent the necessary request to request the performance of the game in its alternative stadium: Municipal de Leiria.

«Casa Pia Atlético Clube comes to remind you that numerous works will be carried out to improve the Pina Manique Stadium that will allow home games to be played in the Bwin League. It is also recalled that during this period the games while visited will be held at Estádio do Jamor.
Since the provisional stadium was defined, it should be noted that Casa Pia AC worked together with the company responsible for the care and conservation of the turf (Vibeiras), as well as with the IPDJ, the entity responsible for the Estádio do Jamor, to guarantee that the time of the first game in the home condition.
Despite this, and given the concern of Casa Pia AC with the state of the pitch at Estádio do Jamor and the possibility that, contrary to what was expected, it would not be fully ready for the second round of the League, measures were taken so that decisions could be taken in a timely manner. needed.
Thus, an inspection was carried out by Liga Portugal and those responsible, having reached the conclusion that, with the limited period until the date of the game, it will not be possible to carry out the match at Estádio do Jamor.
The Administration of Casa Pia AC, sent this Monday the necessary request to request the game to be held in the alternative stadium of the Liga Portugal (Municipal Stadium of Leiria).»
