Newcastle announced this Tuesday the signing of Sven Botman, who will sign until 2027. The 22-year-old Dutch centre-back arrives in the Premier League after two seasons where he was one of the great highlights of Lille, with the French emblem to cash in, now, 40 million euros with the transfer of Botman to the magpies.
In July 2020, Lille invested eight million euros in signing the defender from Ajax, the club where Botman trained, to now substantially capitalize on that investment.
