The four convicted of rape and death of a young woman in 2012 on a bus in New Delhi will be hanged on Jan. 22, an Indian court said today.
According to Press Trust of India news agency, executions were scheduled after the Indian Supreme Court dismissed the final appeal of the convicts in December.
The legislation allows the President of India to intercede in the case, but this should not happen.
