Rumored for years, the fourth chapter of the saga that began in 1995 under the direction of Michael Bay now he has finally found a definitive confirmation. They will return to directing Adil El-Arbi e Bilal Fallathe filmmaking duo already behind a Bad Boys for life released in 2020. The new film does not yet have an official title and it is precisely on this that the two protagonists joke.
In the video, Will Smith hurries to his setmate’s house to officially announce the production of Bad Boys 4. Thinking the pun is easy, he cheers by flashing four fingers and launching into a «Bad Boys four life!”, but there’s a problem. As Martin Lawrence points out to him, the assonance is fine but the title has already been used for the third film. A moment of entanglement, then the two return to seventh heaven to give the fans the news.
The 2020 threequel was one of the last blockbusters of the pre-pandemic era: it grossed $426.5 million all over the world and although it has not been particularly acclaimed by critics and audiences, it has helped to carry on the story of the first and second film, released in 2003 again directed by Michael Bay.
In Bad Boys for lifemoreover, we have also known Jacob Scipio in the role of Armando, aka Mike Lowrey’s son. It is not yet known if we will see him again in the next chapter, but at the end he had been sent on a mission on behalf of the Miami police and therefore his return is not excluded.
