The average price of car insurance rises by 18% and not only due to inflation – Inese

The average annual price of auto insurance is 767 euros, which represents an increase of 18% compared to last year, according to the ‘Ranking of the most expensive and cheapest cars to be insured in 2022 ‘prepared by Rastreator.

The comparator explains that this increase in insurance premiums are justified by the increase in CPI, the age and experience of the driver, the history of accidents and the characteristics of the vehicle or parking lot. The Head of Comparator’s Insurance, Víctor López, he points out that the CPI has increased in a general way in all sectors, but clarifies that “it is one of the products where there has been a minor variation in prices, since the final cost depends above all on the profile of the driver and the vehicle”.

The report reveals it Dacia Spring (343 euros), Jogger (354 euros) and Lada Niva (361 euros) are currently the cheapest models to insure. On the opposite side are positioned i Mazda RX-8 (1,367 euros), the Porsche 911 (1,236 euros) and the Audi A7 Sportback (1,216 euros).
