A total of 4,862 people have attended any of the 44 shows offered last July at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao within the Aurrera Fest initiative, promoted by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia to support the cultural sector, very affected by the crisis caused by Covid-19.
In a note, the Euskalduna Palace has made a positive assessment of the initiative, which has meant a collection of 77,855 euros, and has pointed out that after the stoppage due to Covid-19 it has been shown that “consuming culture is safe.”
Of the 44 shows offered within Aurrera Fest (20 have been for modern music, 10 for classical music, 6 for theater, 3 for dance, 1 for zarzuela, 1 for children and 3 for other types of arts) Since last July 4, when the program started, 46 functions have been held.
