After a silver medal in the 100m freestyle on Wednesday, Maxime Grousset took bronze on Friday in the final of the 50m freestyle at the Budapest Worlds, where Mélanie Henique went for silver in the 50m butterfly, eleven years after her last world medal. 3. Athletics – United States Championship: MPM and the title for Kerley

Kerley sends a message to Eugene. American Fred Kerley set the best world performance of the year by running the 100 meters in 9.76 seconds in the semi-finals of the United States Championships, qualifiers for the World Athletics Championships, before winning the title in the final, Friday in Eugene, Oregon.
