A second hive project

The association, which received $ 1,000 grants from the county council, plans to install a second hive this year. It could once again make it to Angers (Maine-et-Loire) to get another swarm. “If the bee disappeared from the earth, man would only have four years to live,” recalls Katia Vanparis. And Patrice Hubert noted : “A city is an oasis for pollinators because of the abundance of floral resources and the availability of water.”
