The WKStA is still interested in some clubs in the vicinity of the FPÖ. The reason is well known: In the Ibiza video, the then FPÖ party leader Heinz-Christian Strache explained that parties could be given money through clubs “bypassing the Court of Auditors”. As a result, the authority examined some clubs, it was about the suspicion of illegal party financing. Most of the proceedings have since been discontinued.
