The Asian Defense Summit is being held in Singapore
The US defense minister stated that it is essential to renew the dialogue with China in order to avoid misunderstandings that could lead to a conflict between the two superpowers. Chinese Defense Minister Li Shanfu, on the other hand, made an offer at the conference to the Ukrainian Defense Minister to use all possible means of assistance to end the Russian war, while he also pledged to expand military ties with Kyiv.
Although Beijing has close political and economic ties with Moscow, the Ukrainian side sought to deepen Beijing’s understanding of the situation in Ukraine.
