The arms company is under fire from critics. She made a weapon that looked like a lego toy

In recent days, the American arms company Culper Precision, which produced a modified version of the Glock weapon, has been the target of criticism. Its improved variant looked like a Lego toy. “We have adjusted it to emphasize the pure enjoyment of shooting sports,” the company defends.

However, the Danish toy manufacturer Lego sent the company a request to stop producing a weapon called Block19. It is covered with cubes that look like Lego, the server informed BBC. Fighters protested against the production of weapons control, calling the pistol irresponsible and dangerous.

Shannon Watts, a non-profit arms control company, said her organization had contacted Lego last week about a modified Block19, and that the Danish company had then sent a letter to Culper Precision calling for it to stop production.

Watts also criticized Culper Precision for enticing children to use weapons, “even if the weapons don’t look like toys.”

The arms company defends itself by saying that weapons are for everyone and their responsible ownership, and shooting from them is a pleasant activity. “However, we have decided to comply with Lego’s request,” Brandon Scott told The Washington Post.

In the United States, it is forbidden to make children’s toys that resemble real weapons, but the laws do not explicitly prevent manufacturers from making toys that resemble toys.
