The six-core processor Ryzen 5 7600 is so far the cheapest one you can buy for the new AM5 platform. In addition, it is currently on sale when Smarty.cz offers it for 5290 CZKwhile elsewhere it starts at around six thousand.
Unfortunately, motherboard prices are not falling much. The promising model from ASRock is not here yet, and low-end boards with the A620 chipset will arrive in the coming months. The cheapest currently is the Asus Prime B650M-A II, which CZC a T.S.Bohemia they sell for 3990 CZK.
On the contrary, the prices of DDR5 type memories are falling significantly. Kingston Fury Beast with a frequency of 6000 MHz, timing CL36 and support for AMD Expo profiles is on Smarty.cz for 3249 CZK.
Leaving aside the slightly more complicated purchase in several stores, a reasonable base for the AM5 platform can be put together for around 12,500 CZK. On the other hand, if you don’t plan to upgrade in the next few years, the older AM4 will still do a good job and save you a third of the money that would be better spent on a graphics card in the case of a gaming PC. A six-core Ryzen 5 5600, a board with a B550 chipset and 32 GB of DDR4 fit within eight thousand crowns.
