The Adult Education Center (CEA) of the Estuary wins the honors of the seventh edition of the À share à part prize, awarded by the Office des personnes handicapés du Québec and which was held on February 23 in virtual format by webcast live.

Hosted by Ève-Marie Lortie, the virtual ceremony was an opportunity to unveil the winners of the different categories of the 2020 edition of the À Part Full Prize.

The CEA de l’Estuaire was a finalist and won a prize in the category Educational institutions supporting educational success.

Let us recall that this project is that of social integration and socio-professional integration on the territory of the school service center for adults with functional limitations. This is a collaboration between the CEA, the Council of the Innu of Pessamit, the Center d’Activites de la Haute-Côte-Nord organization and regional health and social services.

“In the past few months, people without disabilities have learned about confinement. A reality well known to people with disabilities. In their cases, it is not only temporary. The Prize In its own right, it is the Prize for those who deconfigure the lives and hopes of thousands of people, ”wrote in a press release Stéphane Laporte, spokesperson for the event.
