The 80’s dream Lamborghini Countach is back – now as a hybrid

On Friday, Lamborghini launched a new Countach, a tribute to one of the most classic supercars, writes The Verge. The original Countache was launched in 1971 and became the subject of many’s dreams of luxury and fast cars during the 1970s and 80s.

The revived model is called the Countach LPI 800-4, where a V12 engine together with a small electric motor and the car’s four-wheel drive together pulls the car away from 0-100 km / h in 2.8 seconds. 0-100 km / h runs in 8.6 seconds and the top speed should be 355 km / h. Total system power for the two engines is 802 horsepower.

Lamborghini will only produce 112 copies of the new cult model. The first deliveries will take place during the first quarter of 2022, but the Italian super sports car manufacturer has not revealed the price.
