AMD Rembrandt chips will use the FP7 case, which, however, has the same dimensions as the FP6 for Cezanne or Renoir, namely 25 x 35 mm. But the chip itself will be bigger and as he states Patrick Schur, should cover an area of ​​208 mm². This would roughly correspond to the fact that the Cezanne are 156 mm in size².-

AMD Rembrandt according to the following diagram from ExecutableFix Like Cezanne, they will offer eight Zen 3 cores, but of course DDR5 memory and PCIe 4.0 support next to them. However, it seems that the replacement of the Vega generation iGPU for Navi in ​​RDNA 2 version will have the largest share in the increase in chip size. We are most curious about the new more powerful graphics in the case of the new APU generation, DDR5 memory throughput. –

The diagram also reveals that the iGPU will have a total of six Work Groups (WGPs), with one WGP containing two CUs, so in total Rembrandt should offer an iGPU equipped with up to 768 CUs. This outperforms the older integrated RX Vega 11 by one CU.

In the case of the Alienware m17 R5, however, the performance of iGPU may not matter to us, as we have separate graphics, and Rembrandt has only eight PCIe lines ready for this, but version 4.0, which with its throughput corresponds to the PCIe 3.0 x16 interface. In addition, there are three sets of PCIe 4.0 x4.
