5,490, ‘El Gordo’ of the Christmas Lottery awarded 400,000 euros for the tenth

The number 5,490 was awarded ‘El Gordo’, the first prize of the Extraordinary Drawing of the Christmas Lottery, endowed with 4,000,000 euros for the series. The number was sung at 11:21 on the second thread of the fifth table. The grand prize has been well distributed in the administrations of A Coruña, Lugo, Asturias, Almería, Madrid, Barcelona, ​​​​​​León, Bizkaia, Alicante, Castellón, Seville, Valladolid, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Murcia, Girona, Granada, Las Palmas, Valencia, Albacete, Ávila, Islands Balearics , Cáceres, Cádiz , Ciudad Real, Gipuzkoa, Huelva, Huesca, Jaen, Malaga, Navarre, Pontevedra and Soria.

This year’s broadcast consists of 180 series, eight more than in previous years when it was 172 series, of 100,000 issues each. This issue amounts to 3,600 million euros, of which 70 percent is distributed in prizes, i.e. 2,520 million euros will be distributed.

Among the lottery prizes, the one known as the ‘Grasso’ Christmas stands out, worth 4 million euros for the series (400,000 euros for the tenth winner); the second prize, of 1,250,000 euros for the series (125,000 for the tenth); or the third, of 500,000 euros for the series (50,000 for the tenth). Two fourth prizes are also distributed, of €200,000 for the series (€20,000 for the tenth) and eight fifths, of €60,000 for the series (€6,000 for the tenth).
