The new week is just around the corner, but before then we look back on the last seven days. The iPhoned editors have listed the best iOS apps, games and updates from last week.

Read on after the ad.

The best iOS apps from last week

Apple’s App Store works overtime every week. New apps, updates for existing applications and games are constantly appearing. You probably won’t notice this, because most of the programs are not worth downloading. iPhoned therefore separates the wheat from the chaff every Sunday. These are the best iOS apps, updates, and games from the past week.

1. Adobe illustrator

Adobe Illustrator is finally making its entry as an iOS app. Although there were already apps such as Adobe Fresco and Adobe illustrator Draw, with Illustrator you can really get started professionally.

Although the software can sometimes be a bit complicated for beginners, the interface is very intuitive. You can also easily share your work with others or send it to your own devices. Especially with an Apple Pencil and iPad you can easily work with Illustrator.

2. Xbox

The official Xbox app has had a complete makeover. The app received a lot of criticism from users for being slow, so an update was welcome. The updated app was already available for Android, but can now also be found in the App Store.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate-streaming

The Xbox app also supports Xbox Remote Play for iOS. That way you can use your iPhone screen for your Xbox games. Handy if you can’t game on the TV for a while.

3. Mario Kart Tour

Last week it was also in our overview, due to the added features, but there is more happening in Mario Kart Tour. The Halloween Tour has started this week. The tournament will run until November 4th. As always, you are supposed to collect stars while trying to get the new cups.

In addition, you can earn a number of gifts with the tournament, such as new character Larry and new karts. The tournament update also adds a new Tier Shop: here you can buy useful items that will give you an edge in the tournaments.

4. Spooky Squashers

Halloween is just around the corner, so it’s time for spooky games. Spooky Squashers is a retro arcade game. The idea is simple: with a tennis racket you skillfully hit a ball across the room to hit your enemies.

You play as a pumpkin. By aiming the ball just right against the walls, the balls hit the creepy monsters. Meanwhile, these monsters will come after you too, so agility is very important.
