The 4 best iOS apps of the past week
Every week, the Apple App Store works overtime. New apps, updates for existing applications and games are constantly appearing. You probably won’t notice this, because the majority of the programs are not worth downloading. iPhoned therefore separates the wheat from the chaff every Sunday. These are the best iOS apps, updates and games from the past week.
1. Instagram Reels
Instagram launch the attack on TikTok. Last week, Facebook’s subsidiary released Reels. From now on you can record short videos of up to six seconds under the camera button of Instagram and provide all kinds of animations and fun effects.
–
Instagram Reels then share on your Insta profile, but you can also add them to your Story. The advantage of option number 1 is that your video may end up on the Discover tab of the app, where an audience of millions is present. Last week we have other ones besides Instagram Reels TikTok alternatives organised.

2. Tikkie Check
The immensely popular Tikkie payment app now also comes in handy on the terrace. Last week maker ABN Amro Tikkie Check out, a new function for catering operators. This allows café and restaurant owners to allow guests to pay contactless with their smartphone.
–
It is very simple. Take a seat and scan the QR code on the table. Then place your order with the staff and enjoy the drink. Have you had enough to drink? Then you ‘just’ pay via Tikkie, without having to ask for a receipt. Then it is very easy to split the bill with any company.
