Apple’s App Store works overtime every week. New apps, updates for existing applications and games are constantly appearing. You probably won’t notice this, because most of the programs are not worth downloading. iPhoned therefore separate the wheat from the chaff every Sunday. These are the best iOS apps, updates, and games from the past week.
1. Mario Kart Tour
Mario Kart Tour is celebrating its first anniversary and has had a major update. The iOS app of the well-known racing game not only has special tournaments that you can play, an update also adds new features. For example, there is now Auto Mode, with which you basically put your kart on automatic pilot. With this you can put your character on the road in a certain formation, or watch while your character continues on the road.

Coins and other points you collect are simply added to your total, but your level will not increase when using the mode. The challenges you can achieve do not count when using Auto Mode. The mode is useful if, for example, you want to take some screenshots or adjust the camera. You also get a boost when you level up and you can contact your friends by sending them Greeting Coins.

2. Knight Fright
Knight Fright is a retro fighting game that is free to download. The game takes place in a kingdom recently invaded by evil creatures. Think of ghosts and goblins who want to make the world a worse place. It’s your job to fight them and defeat all opponents to save the kingdom.

Besides defeating your opponents, it is also your job to restore the world to its former glory. Jump on each square to bring it back to life. Be careful: one wrong step and you have to start all over again.
